Custom Customer Fields

Custom Customer Fields is a module that can add functionality to your Administration user interface. You can additional fields for customer information which be visible only to you and seen only in the Administration interface.  You may want to add notes to a customer's account to remind you of their previous orders, their particular shipping preferences, or any particular information you wish.

This module does not display additional customer fields on the Store during checkout.  This is only for administrative purposes.

 

  1. Click the [+] next to Stores

  2. Click the [+] next to your store’s name

  3. Click on the Utilities link

  4. Select the Check Box next to Custom Customer Fields

  5. Click Update

  6. Click the Custom Customer Fields link at the top of the page

  7. Click Add

  8. Enter Code

  9. Enter the Name for the custom field

  10. Click Update

  11. Go to Customers

  12. Click Edit for the customer you wish to add the custom field to

  13. Click the Custom Customer Fields link at the top of the page

  14. Enter the information into the custom field

  15. Click Update

  16. Your custom information is now stored
