Custom Fields

With Custom Fields, you can enhance existing product information by defining your own product fields to be shown on the Product Display screen. Create fields for any form of product data, such as ISBN, UPC, Manufacturer, and so on.

To add Custom Fields to a product follow these instructions:

  1. Click the [+] next to Stores

  2. Click the [+] next to your store’s name

  3. Click on the Utilities link

  4. Select the Check Box next to Custom Fields

  5. Click Update

  6. Click the Custom Product Fields link at the top of the page

  7. Click Add

  8. Enter Code (ISBN, UPC etc.)

  9. Enter the Name for the custom field

  10. Click Update

  11. Go to Pages

  12. Click Edit for the PROD – Product Display Page

  13. Click the Product Display Layout link at the top of the page

  14. Select the Check Box next to your Custom Field

  15. Click Update

  16. Go to Products

  17. Click Edit on the product you wish to add the custom field to

  18. Click the Custom Fields link

  19. Enter the information into the custom field

  20. Click Update

  21. Your custom information will now appear on the Product page
