This module requires that you are running Miva Merchant Empresa 5.04 or greater. Miva Merchant Empresa is the engine that runs Miva Merchant. If you are unsure, please contact your host.
The Google Checkout module for Miva Merchant allows you to interface your online store with the Google Checkout API.
And process them for free when you advertise with Google.
Every online merchant has two goals: sell more and spend less. Google Checkout™ is a new way to process transactions that helps you achieve both. Checkout works with Google's search advertising program, AdWords, to increase your sales and minimize your expenses throughout the online sales and marketing process.
Shoppers who see the Google Checkout™ badge on your AdWords ads will more easily find you when they search
A fast, secure checkout process helps persuade shoppers to buy on your site and buy more often.
For every $1 you spend on AdWords, you can process $10 in sales for free. For sales that exceed this amount or if you don't use AdWords, you can process them at a low 2% and $0.20 per transaction.
Our fraud prevention tools stop invalid orders from reaching you. And our Payment Guarantee policy helps protect you from chargebacks.

The Charge Order command instructs Google Checkout to charge the buyer for a particular order. After an order reaches the CHARGEABLE order state, you have 72 hours to capture funds by issuing a Charge Order command. You may issue a Charge Order command for an order that is in any of the following financial order states:
REVIEWING
CHARGEABLE
CHARGED (if the order has only been partially charged)
Note: Even after you have issued a Charge Order command, you should not assume that Google has charged your customer until you see the Financial state say CHARGED. In addition, if you charge an order that is in the REVIEWING financial order state, the charge will not take place until Google has updated the financial order state to CHARGEABLE.
The Refund Order command instructs Google Checkout to refund the buyer for a particular order. You may issue a Refund Order command after an order has been charged and is in the CHARGED financial order state.
Note: Even after you have issued a Refund Order command, you should not assume that Google has refunded your customer until you see the Financial state say REFUNDED confirming that the refund has been processed.
The Cancel Order command instructs Google Checkout to cancel a particular order. If the customer has already been charged, you must refund the customer's money before you can cancel the order. You may issue a Cancel Order command for an order that is either of the following financial order states:
CHARGEABLE
PAYMENT_DECLINED
Note: Even after you have issued a Cancel Order command, you should not assume that Google has canceled the order until you see the Financial state say CANCELLED confirming that the financial order state was updated to CANCELLED.
The Process Order command instructs Google Checkout to update an order's fulfillment state from NEW to PROCESSING.
When you issue a Process Order request, Google Checkout displays a note in the buyer's inbox indicating that you are processing the order. This command is optional. If you do not send a Process Order request, Google will not display the message.
The Deliver Order command instructs Google Checkout to update an order's fulfillment state from either NEW or PROCESSING to DELIVERED. You would send this command after the order has been charged and shipped.
The Archive Order command instructs Google Checkout to remove an order from your Merchant Center Inbox. We recommend that you only archive orders after they have been delivered or canceled.
The Un-Archive Order> command instructs Google Checkout to return a previously archived order to your Merchant Center Inbox.
The Add Tracking Data command instructs Google Checkout to associate a shipper's tracking number with an order. The Google Checkout Program Policies and Guidelines state that you must provide shipment tracking information for your orders as that information becomes available. This command does not impact the order's fulfillment state.
The Send Buyer Message command instructs Google Checkout to place a message in the customer's Google Checkout account. It will also email the message to the customer. This command does not impact the order's fulfillment state.

A. This would typically happen if you were using a third party to alter the display of the shipping methods. To correct this, we recommend using the Shipping SuperMod available to MivaCentral.com. The Shipping SuperMod acts as a gateway, so accurate shipping methods are created based on the order criteria.
A. First, the button will only display if there are contents within your basket. Second, double check that you have created and inserted the token using the correct syntax.
A. This is because the Google Checkout Connector file for Miva Merchant is unable to authenticate when Google communicates with it. Double checking your account settings in the modules administration panel and clicking “Update” should correct it. Click “Update” recreates the connector file with updated permissions.
